Dean Hartley

Director / Founder

Dean Hartley is a Podiatrist of over 15 years. In 2022, Dean was awarded an Adjunct Fellow position in the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering at The University of Queensland, Queensland, Australia.

Dean co-founded Balance Podiatry and iOrthotics (Brisbane and New York, USA) and, in 2018, Healthia Limited, Australia, a publicly listed allied health organisation.

In his role as Director, Dean guides the business and technical development of iOrthotics in Australia and the two US businesses, iOrthotics USA (New York) and Performance Laboratories (New Jersey).

Since 2015, Dean has collaborated with The University of Queensland (School of Engineering), Queensland University of Technology and HP to introduce 3D Printed technologies, digital workflows and 3D scanning into orthotic manufacturing.

Dean also jointly set up the Healthia R&D Hub in 2021 and continues to advise on tech-enabled healthcare with involvement in technology-focused research through the private allied health sector.

Scott Morrison

General Manager

Scott Morrison has been the General Manager of iOrthotics Australia since 2018. With a background in clinical settings as a Podiatrist, Scott has also enjoyed several rewarding years teaching anatomy, orthotic manufacturing, and biomechanics at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement Studies from the University of Queensland (1998) and a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry with Honours from QUT (2001). In 2003, he co-founded Allsports Podiatry, which became part of the Healthia Limited Group in 2018.

At iOrthotics, Scott’s responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical training and support to prescribing podiatrists.
  • Assisting in research and development, notably in projects like 3D print material testing with UQ engineering, and government-funded initiatives aiming to design smart orthotics for remote areas and innovative treatments for diabetes-related foot ulcers.
  • Supporting iOrthotics USA with the implementation of cutting-edge 3D scanning and printing technology.

Scott’s extensive experience and dedication ensure the highest standards in orthotic innovation and clinical application.

Harley Goodwin

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at iOrthotics, Harley Goodwin is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the company. Harley has honed his skills in process improvement, supply chain management, and team leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Communications degree, which has provided him with a solid foundation in effective communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving. Harley began as a Lab Technician, where he developed a valuable understanding of orthotic manufacturing.

When he’s not working, Harley can be found cheering on his beloved Geelong Cats or indulging in his love of coffee. He prioritizes spending time with his family and friends, and is an avid runner who enjoys pushing himself to new limits.

Elisha King

Training & Education

Elisha joined iOrthotics in 2024 as a podiatry consultant to strengthen the service we provide to our clients. Elisha graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2017 and has worked in a magnitude of busy private practices across Australia and over the last couple of years has been a customer of iOrthotics. Elisha still consults clinically 2 days per week and is an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association as well as increasing her involvement in custom AFO and custom footwear prescription and manufacture.

Nidhi Solanki

Orthotist & Prosthetist

Nidhi has been a valued team member at iOrthotics since 2021. She graduated in 2009 and a member of well-known Australian Orthotic and prosthetic Association and specialised in lower limb orthosis including Ankle Foot Orthosis, Knee Orthosis, KAFO, spinal braces & upper limb splints. She has fitted various types of orthosis to the patients and finds helping her patient’s work towards their goal very rewarding.

Nidhi looks after the custom 3D printed AFO design work, Sure step pediatric braces and custom medical grade Footwear orders at iOrthotics and also provides guidance in ordering and prescription of these products.
